BOOKLETS

Booklets are full color and printed onto either glossy or satin 32lb paper. Pricing below includes printing, folding, and stapling. A booklet is full bleed if ANY background colors or imagery go all the way to the edge of any pages of the booklet.

NON FULL BLEED 5.5” wide x 8.5” high or 8.5” wide x 11” high 15¢ per page
IMPORTANT NOTE: To qualify for the non-full-bleed price, booklet orientation must be portrait, not landscape. (i.e. for the smaller booket option, the stapled edge is the 8.5" side, for the larger booklet option, the stapled edge must be the 11" side)

FULL BLEED any size from 5.75” to 10" high (this is the binding side) and 3” to 7.75” wide 20¢ per page

There is a special quantity discount on NON FULL BLEED booklets: 10,000+ pages only 10¢ per page (e.g. 417+ copies of a 24 page book)

>> Minimum of 1,000 pages per project (e.g. for a 12 page booklet, 84 copies)

>> Maximum of 52 pages per booklet

>> Total page count includes front cover, inside front cover, back cover, and inside back cover

>> Total page count must be a multiple of four

>> The stapled edge must be a minimum of 5.75” long

>> Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a thicker paper for the cover. If you need a thick cover, consider having your project wire bound. Call for details.

>> Please provide your booklet in either Indesign or as individual pages in Photoshop. If using other programs, you can provide each page (not spreads) as a PDF.

For Indesign, imagery should be linked, not embedded, and be sure to provide us with the images. Turn all fonts to outline. If images go to the edge of the page, provide at least 1/8" bleed, but 1/4" is better. Set up your document as individual pages, not as spreads. We're happy to talk you through any of these requirements, just give us a call at 212-979-8766 before you start designing.

For Photoshop, set up each page with a bleed, in CMYK, at a resolution of at least 300ppi. Don't flatten your file. If images go to the edge of the page, provide at least 1/8" bleed, but 1/4" is better. Set up your document as individual pages, not as spreads. Name each page as page01, page 02, etc. The front cover should always be named page01. The back cover should always be the last page.
